Near mint condition Martin 00-14 fret slope shoulder based on the popular CEO7 model from the Custom Shop. One of three built by Martin for the NAAM show. This custom build features really beautiful Flamed Australian Blackwood back and sides, an Adirondack Spruce top and scalloped braces and Genuine Mahogany modified V neck. Custom vintage inspired specs include unique and beautiful 1930 style multi-color rope herringbone top purfling and double backstrip, Paua Pearl rosette, decorative Foden style fretboard inlays and top of the line Nickel Waverly butterbean tuners.
Auatralian (or Tasmanian) Blackwood is a close relative of Hawaiian Koa, both in looks and in tone, but with the rich overtones of rosewood
This very comfortable body size is the same as the popular CEO-7 but with many great upgrades. Very easy to play short scale 1/3/4" neck. Strong clean bass with that nice warm Martin sound. Big powerful open voice with clear mids and sparkling highs. Very responsive, balanced and resonant. Great for size for fingerpicking or strumming on the couch, back porch, or stage. As beautiful sounding as it is beautiful looking.
Includes the original deluxe Martin Custom Shop hardshell case with shroud.
